Hey, I'm Josie! I'm a journalist, writer and creator passionate about connecting people with information that both informs and entertains. I've spent my early career considering how we as an industry can break down barriers between audiences and the information they need, while having lots of fun along the way. I've launched and managed TikTok accounts, played a role in launching new newsletters targeting Gen Z readers and stayed on top of the latest trends in digital media.

I'm a bit of an everyman. My interests are vast and my work is varied across digital production, audience and communication, reporting and audio, to name a few. Ultimately, I'm an energized and optimistic creator whose work has led to innovations and progress in the spaces I occupy.

I thrive in creative, fast-paced work environments where I have an active and engaged role in making things happen. My digital work spans -- well, pretty much everywhere you can imagine, from social media and packaged projects, to audience engagement initiatives, web analytics and design.

I am a 2022 graduate of the University of Iowa's School of Journalism and Mass Communication. I have experience in news and feature writing, copy-editing, digital journalism, social media and communications.

My dream is to work in the fashion industry in any capacity, but ideally in a media role. Right now I live in the world of public radio, doing important work to inform audiences.
